VETTORYN is designed so homeowners can review roofing companies before providing contact information. Contact details are associated only with the homeowner's request and selected roofing companies, subject to the rules described below.

1. Information we collect

We collect information that you provide directly to VETTORYN and information generated through your use of the service.

Homeowner request information: ZIP code, roofing service needed, property and roof details, project description, selected roofing companies, and any other information submitted with a roofing request.
Homeowner contact information: name, email address, telephone number, and consent information when you choose to continue with selected roofing companies.
Contractor information: company name, contact name, email, business phone, website, city, service areas, services offered, account credentials, verification status, and profile information.
Account and transaction information: credit balances, opportunity unlocks, payment status, transaction references, and related account activity.
Technical information: IP address, browser/device information, timestamps, security logs, cookies, and similar information used to operate and protect the service.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

create and manage roofing requests and contractor accounts;
match roofing requests with roofing companies based on service and service area;
allow homeowners to choose which roofing companies they want to hear from;
reveal homeowner contact details only after the applicable selected opportunity is successfully unlocked;
process contractor credits and payment confirmations;
send operational, verification, account, opportunity, payment, and security communications;
prevent fraud, abuse, duplicate requests, and unauthorized access;
improve VETTORYN's marketplace, reliability, and customer experience;
comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. How homeowner contact information is shared

VETTORYN does not publish homeowner contact information publicly. A homeowner's contact information is made available only in connection with the homeowner's request and roofing companies the homeowner selected, after the applicable opportunity is successfully unlocked.

VETTORYN does not sell homeowner contact details to unrelated roofing contractors as a random or bulk contractor contact list.

4. Service providers and payment processing

We may use service providers for hosting, email delivery, security, analytics, support, and payment processing. These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to VETTORYN or as otherwise permitted by law.

Payments may be completed through third-party payment providers such as PayPal. VETTORYN does not store your PayPal password or full payment-card number. Payment providers process payment information under their own privacy policies and terms.

5. Contractor use of homeowner information

Roofing companies that receive homeowner contact information may use it only for the roofing request for which the homeowner selected that company. Contractors are responsible for complying with applicable privacy, advertising, calling, texting, email, and consumer-protection laws.

6. Verification

VETTORYN may review contractor business, contact, service, and profile information. A VETTORYN verification status means only that VETTORYN performed its internal review. It is not a government license, certification, warranty, recommendation, or guarantee of a contractor's work.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies or similar technologies for login sessions, security, preferences, service operation, analytics, and fraud prevention. Browser settings may allow you to control certain cookies, although disabling them may affect service functionality.

8. Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain transaction and security records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with legal obligations, and protect VETTORYN and its users. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and why it is held.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information. No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Your privacy choices and rights

Depending on where you live, applicable law may provide rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about certain personal data. You may also have rights concerning certain uses or disclosures of personal information.

11. Children

VETTORYN is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly create homeowner or contractor marketplace accounts for children.

12. Geographic processing

VETTORYN and its service providers may process information in locations different from where you live. Where applicable, we use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as VETTORYN develops. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the current version. Material changes may also be communicated through the service when appropriate.
