By accessing or using VETTORYN, submitting a roofing request, creating a contractor account, purchasing credits, or using an opportunity provided through VETTORYN, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement to use the service.
VETTORYN provides technology that may:
Roofing companies using VETTORYN are independent businesses. VETTORYN does not employ, control, supervise, direct, or perform the work of those businesses.
Any inspection, estimate, contract, price, warranty, insurance discussion, repair, replacement, or other roofing service is solely between the homeowner and the roofing company.
VETTORYN may review contractor business information, contact details, services, service areas, and profile information before allowing a company to receive opportunities.
A company marked as verified has passed VETTORYN's internal review process. Verification is not a government-issued roofing license, professional certification, warranty, endorsement, or guarantee of workmanship, pricing, insurance coverage, financial condition, or future performance.
Homeowners remain responsible for evaluating a contractor before hiring the company, including requesting any insurance, references, permits, registrations, warranties, or other information relevant to the project.
Homeowners agree to provide information they reasonably believe to be accurate and to submit requests only for genuine roofing needs.
VETTORYN may limit, reject, remove, or investigate requests that appear fraudulent, duplicated, abusive, automated, misleading, or unrelated to a genuine roofing project.
A homeowner's selection of a roofing company authorizes VETTORYN to make the opportunity available to that selected company and, after a successful unlock, to provide the homeowner's submitted contact information for that request.
Contractors must provide accurate business and account information and keep it reasonably current. Contractors are responsible for protecting account credentials and for activity conducted through their accounts.
Contractors may use homeowner information obtained from VETTORYN only for the specific roofing opportunity for which the homeowner selected that contractor.
Contractors are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and rules concerning calls, texts, emails, advertising, privacy, consumer protection, contracting, permits, insurance, taxes, and roofing work.
An opportunity represents a homeowner-selected request for contact. It is not a guaranteed appointment, estimate, contract, sale, revenue amount, or roofing job.
VETTORYN does not guarantee that a homeowner will respond, hire a contractor, accept an estimate, qualify for insurance coverage or financing, or complete a project.
VETTORYN may charge contractors credits to unlock paid opportunities. One VETTORYN credit currently equals one U.S. dollar of platform credit for opportunity-unlock purposes.
Opportunity prices may vary by service type and may change prospectively. The applicable number of credits is shown to the contractor before an opportunity is unlocked.
Promotional or free opportunities may be offered from time to time and may be modified, limited, or discontinued prospectively.
Contractors may purchase credit packages through payment providers made available by VETTORYN. Credits are added only after VETTORYN verifies successful payment with the payment provider.
Purchased credits have no cash value outside VETTORYN and are not a bank deposit, stored-value account, cryptocurrency, or transferable currency.
Except where required by law or approved by VETTORYN for a verified billing or opportunity-quality issue, purchased credits and successfully consumed opportunity credits are non-refundable.
If VETTORYN determines that an opportunity was invalid, duplicated, fraudulent, outside the contractor's applicable service criteria, or materially defective under VETTORYN's then-current quality rules, VETTORYN may restore applicable credits as an account adjustment.
Payment transactions may be processed by third parties such as PayPal. Use of those payment services is also subject to the payment provider's terms and policies. VETTORYN does not store your PayPal password or full payment-card number.
Users may not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, scrape private information, create fake requests or accounts, manipulate credits, interfere with security controls, impersonate another person or company, or use homeowner information for unrelated marketing or resale.
VETTORYN may review, restrict, suspend, reject, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the platform, investigate suspected misuse or fraud, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or address payment or security concerns.
We work to keep VETTORYN available and accurate, but the service may occasionally be unavailable, delayed, incomplete, or affected by third-party services, maintenance, software errors, internet failures, payment-provider issues, or events outside our control.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VETTORYN and its service are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. VETTORYN does not guarantee any contractor, homeowner, opportunity, project result, revenue outcome, workmanship, estimate, insurance result, or transaction between users.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VETTORYN will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from the service, a roofing project, communications between users, or the conduct of a homeowner or contractor.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.
VETTORYN's name, site design, software, branding, text, and platform materials are owned by or licensed to VETTORYN and may not be copied, reproduced, sold, or commercially exploited without permission except as allowed by law.
VETTORYN may improve, modify, add, or remove service features and may update these Terms prospectively. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
Users remain responsible for complying with laws applicable to them, their location, their communications, and any roofing transaction. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
